Important Legal Notice
Tallcoat has released a statement with respect to the offer to sale, sell, use, import or manufacture of products including armour material known as Exote made by Exote Oy (Ltd) of Finland.
Regrettably, there are contractual disputes which may contitute as breach of agreement and our legal action against Exote Oy (Ltd) is pending further investigation into other potential irregularities as well. Due to the foregoing reasons, Tallcoat believes that the court will ultimately issue a decision in Tallcoat’s favor, finding Exote Oy’s action invalid.
Although Tallcoat is confident that the final decision in the action will be favorable, Tallcoat is presently unable to deliver Exote material until that decision is issued by the court. Under the current circumstances, however, Tallcoat is obliged to stop shipment Exote products until the case is decided on its merits.
Tallcoat sincerely regrets the necessity of this action.

The increasingly hostile and uncertain environment creates an enormous need for
advanced materials to protect both individual war fighters and advanced battle systems.
While new opportunities continue to emerge in advanced composite armor designs,
steel continues to have a significant use in armor and structural materials applications
due to its inherent low cost, durability on the battlefield, ease of processing, and robust
characterization. Such long-standing advantages have enabled an extraordinary
investment of time and resources for the maturation of steel metallurgy.
However, with the recent demand for increasingly lighter armor and protective structure
solutions to meet mission requirements, the advantages of advanced materials (i.e.,
superb specific strengths, low thermal expansions, and high environmental tolerance)
have increased dramatically. Due to these superior properties alone, the advanced armor
market is expected to continue its growth into a wide range of commercial and defense
sectors.
To address the new requirements for light weight armor Tallcoat Corporation is working
on several composite armor solutions that offer superior performance and optimal weight
ratio at affordable price. Tallcoat is partnering with end users in the law enforcement and
military to develop new advanced material solutions for a wide range of applications. Our
composite armor is designed to absorb the energy of the impact, and prevent penetration
and internal damage by the penetrating projectile or its residual effects.
Our soft materials include enforced aramid and polyethyelene solutions offering excellent
protection levels and minimal weight. Ideal for body armor and other protective gear they
offer protection against threats listed on NIJ Standard-0101.04 below.

NIJ Standard–0101.04
Hard armor materials are advanced composites that demonstrate extreme hardness without being brittle. Ideal for vehicle applications they offer
superior protection without adding too much weight on the vehicle.
Our advanced composites are lightweight and thin to allow you greater mobility, and they are capable of defeating multiple impacts from Armor
Piercing (AP) projectiles with the higher velocities. In addition, due to relatively simple production methods we are able to provide you shorter lead
times, larger volumes, cost-efficiency, and greater product versatility.
We can customize our products and services to meet your requirements. Please contact us and we will respond promptly to your inquiry.
