Tallcoat Bore Renovator™ is based on RVS Technology® and it is supplied to you in (30
ml) easy-to-use spray bottle. The Bore Renovator™ is designed particularly for special
treatment of gun barrels and sliding surfaces of firearms of different kinds. It is not
ordinary gun oil for normal use. In addition to renovating barrels you can use the Bore
Renovator™ for treating any metal friction surfaces in the weapon.

The RVS Technology® behind the Bore Renovator™is not based on forming oil films
but on modifying the surface structure of metal friction surfaces and forming a new, very
smooth metal ceramic surface. The active components of the RVS Technology® consist
of a mixture of natural minerals based on magnesium silicate and catalysts.

The formation of a metal ceramic surface structure takes place fairly slowly, and it
requires energy to be available due to contact of peaks of the friction surfaces with each
other. After successful Bore Renovator™ treatment, the friction energy is reduced, and it
is easily noticeable by

		Reduced barrel heating
		Softer firing sound
		Increased muzzle velocity
		Increased accuracy

The newly formed surface is in the scale of some microns, but it is sufficient to level out the roughness of the surfaces. Also gaps are optimized as a result of an Bore
Renovator™ treatment.

When you apply it according to instructions the Tallcoat Bore Renovator™ will form a
completely new long lasting metal ceramic coating inside the barrel. Tests have proven
that after the Bore Renovator™ treatment the weapon has gained better muzzle velocity
and increased accuracy in addition to decreased barrel heating.

The reaction of atom exchange gets the
energy from breaking the micro relief
peaks of the surface. The magnesium that
is contained in the RVS compound gives its
place to the ferric atoms of the metal
surface, and the silicate groups are
incorporated to them. New crystals with
bigger volume are formed; they are called
ferrosilicates. The crystals are organised,
they fill the microscopic holes and cracks of
the surfaces, and rise above the original
surface. The parts being treated increase
their mass (which can be detected with
accurate measuring equipment). The
reaction ends automatically when there are
no more contacts of two metal surfaces in
the contact zone and, correspondingly,
there are no more free ferric atoms.
