The RVS Technology® works everywhere friction is available, i.e. where there is heat energy. The new surface structure is not
unfamiliar with the original metal with which it has been formed. There is no sharp boundary between the base material and the new
surface structure, and that is why the ferro silicate structure cannot be removed like coatings (i.e. chrome and nickel).
RVS Technology® is a new technique that makes it possible to form a ferro silicate (i.e. metal
ceramic) surface structure on ferrous friction surfaces. The new surface structure has unique
physical and chemical properties, and it is possible to restore sliding surfaces up to their original
shape without disassembling the equipment being treated.
What is unique about the RVS Technology® is that the restoration is carried out while the equipment
being treated is under its normal operating conditions and that the restoration process ceases
automatically as the required result is achieved. The clearances in every friction pair in the
mechanism are optimised to such a level that is hard to achieve by many of the construction
methods used nowadays. All this is done without disassembling and assembling the mechanism,
and without buying expensive spare parts. The result is a reliable mechanism for a long time.

The reaction produces new molecules which create a new metal ceramic surface structure on ferrous friction contact zones. The born structure is totally integrated into the rest of the metal. The thickness of the structure depends on the wear rate. The new surface becomes very even, hard and resistable against wear and it’s friction coefficient drops to fractions of the original.
